There’s a hive of activity taking place across the Blenheim Estate this summer as we get ready for another year of feeding the bees. Just be sure to bring your camera, as this is one adventure you and the family won’t want to forget!

This year we’re planting even more wildflowers and nectar-rich hedgerows across the Estate, which means our local pollinating pals are in for a tasty treat! The project forms part of our wider Rowse Hives for Lives programme of vital initiatives to project bees and beekeepers across the UK and beyond.

Be sure to visit the walled garden, where you’ll have the chance to spot some of Blenheim’s wild bees as you set off on our Rowse Bee Discovery Trail. Kids and grown-ups alike will love learning all about the fascinating lives of bees and beekeepers, and seeing some of our log hives. Extra hive-fives if you can find the hidden hive in the garden wall (top tip: it’s near the willow fencing).

Across the wider estate, there’s a kaleidoscope of colourful wildflowers being planted for local wildlife to enjoy. So, keep your eyes peeled as you stroll through the grounds - who knows what you might discover!

Oh, and don’t forget to stop off at one of the many cafés and restaurants to treat your tastebuds to something sweet!
