Terms and conditions for Rowse Jubilee Pudding competition

This Promotion is only open to residents of the UK over the age of 18. So that we are completely fair, employees of Rowse Honey and anyone else professionally connected to this Promotion are not allowed to enter.

To enter this Promotion, you need to have access to a bottle of Rowse honey, a valid Instagram or Facebook account and access to the internet.

Participants must enter between 12:00 GMT on the 2nd May 2022 and 12:00GMT on the 13th May 2022.

Entries can be made via either Facebook or Instagram.

For Instagram entries, simply post a picture of your creation on your own account and tag us in the photo using @rowsehoneyuk.

Facebook submissions can be made via the comments section of our Jubilee Pudding competition post.

Once selected, we will contact the winner via Direct Message (DM) for the full recipe.

The Jubilee pudding should be a celebration of all things British and feature Rowse honey as a hero ingredient.

Entrants must ensure their recipe is genuine, accurate and original, and must not include any components that have been copied from elsewhere.

Only entries which meet all of the above criteria will be considered.

Entries will be judged by the Rowse Honey team, overseen by the Rowse Honey tasting experts, who will select a shortlist of five finalists.

The five finalists will then be judged by an independent panel comprising Great British Bake Off finalist Alice Fevronia, professional bee farmer and Rowse Bee a Bee Farmer Apprentice Jim Bliss, and Rowse Honey tasting expert Mhairi Gibb. The winner will be announced on 30th May via Rowse Honey’s social channels.

A member of the Rowse Honey team may contact the winner ahead of the 30th May if any further information pertaining to the recipe is required.

The winner will have their recipe re-created by head judge Alice Fevronia, with a step-by-step filming of the recipe shared across Rowse Honey’s social media channels, along with a link to the full recipe on the Rowse Honey recipe page (

). The winner’s name will be credited in all promotional content.

The winner will also receive a year’s supply of Rowse honey which constitutes a hamper of a selection of 7 products from their range.

We cannot accept any entries that we believe:

Contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by us or could negatively reflect the name, reputation, or goodwill of Rowse Honey, the Promoters, or any of their partners;

Defames, misrepresents, or insult other people or companies, including, but not limited to Rowse Honey, the Promoters (including their partners);

Contain any component we believe has been featured elsewhere, either online or print; and/or

Please allow up to 28 days from the date of confirmation of delivery details for delivery of your honey hamper.

The Prize cannot be transferred to someone else or exchanged for something else or a cash or other alternative.

If, for reasons out of our control, the Prize is no longer available, you will be offered an alternative of equal or greater value than the Prize.

. We will only use your personal data for the administration of this Promotion and for no other purpose unless we have your consent. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners for the purposes of and in order to fulfil this Promotion.

Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted, and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the Promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your information to Rowse Honey and not to Facebook or Instagram.

If you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion or Prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) Rowse Honey and the Promoters won’t be liable for this.

If this Promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this Promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We also reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.

By entering you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If this Promotion is tampered with in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure outside the control of Rowse Honey or its agencies, Rowse Honey and its agencies will not be responsible for the Promotion, prize or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

In the event of any dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final.

If you are the winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter will tag you with your social media username, and also use your name and county of residence to announce the winner of this Promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

The winners may be required to participate in any reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
