About

These scrumptious blondies have been specially crafted by Oxfordshire’s well-known local business, Barefoot Bakery.

Featuring a delectable combination of rich brown sugar and our Oxfordshire Wildflower honey, these blondies are a deep indulgence for your sweet tooth. The regional honey’s natural, floral taste adds that extra layer of depth to this tasty favourite.

Once baked, we recommend accompanying these with a drizzle of honey or even a generous scoop of your favourite ice cream.

Method

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees and line an 11” x 8” brownie tin.

  2. 2

Melt the butter, then add the melted butter, sugar, honey, salt & vanilla to a bowl or mixer. Mix for about 1 minute to combine. When the butter has cooled slightly, add the eggs, and mix for another minute or so.

  3. 3

Take a tablespoon of the flour and coat the chocolate with it. Then add the remaining flour and flour-coated chocolate into the mixing bowl. Mix very quickly until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.

  4. 4

Pour out into your lined brownie tin.

  5. 5

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a skin has formed on the top and the blondies are still soft in the centre and around the edge. Do not overcook, or the blondies will be dry! Allow to cool in the tin, then place in the fridge for at least 2 hours before cutting.
